LED gives out light not relying on the heating of filament, with high energy conversion efficiency. Its energy consumption is only 18% of incandescent lamp. Compared with fluorescent lamps, its energy consumption is only 50% of fluorescent lamp.
The utilization rate of electric energy of LED is as high as 70% or more. Compared with the ordinary incandescent and fluorescent lamps, the electricity-saving efficiency of LED can reach more than 50%.
LED features low heating value, without thermal radiation and such harmful and toxic substances as mercury and sodium ,which can be touched safely. Its light type and light angle can be controlled precisely , with soft light color and without dizzy light. It’s free from infrared and ultraviolet, and is not easily broken. The waste is recyclable without pollution.
The service life of LED is up to 50000 hours.
